The StrongMen Academy is an annual weekend that brings bereaved men together from across the UK, providing a supportive environment where they can connect with others who truly understand the experience of loss. Hosted at The Farm Gym, the StrongMen Academy uses shared activities and practical workshops to improve wellbeing, let off some steam, have fun, and remind every attendee that they don’t have to face bereavement alone.
StrongMen Academy Activities
Over the course of the weekend, participants took part in a diverse programme designed to support both physical and mental wellbeing.
From inspirational talks on resilience and overcoming adversity to outdoor survival challenges with The Mountain Girl, combat archery with Wolfman Fitness, self-defence workshops with Advanced Tactical Resources, fitness sessions, camping and wellbeing activities and workshops from Green & Scarlet, every element of the weekend encouraged connection, confidence and personal growth.
