Veterans Military Portrait Photography
What a privilege it was to be part of this extraordinary portrait photography session for a group of veterans from the Royal British Legion Industries at their Headquarters, the RBLI Village, in Aylesford.
Following on from the 104-year remembrance project at Invicta Park Barracks in Maidstone – Learn more on this post. Some of them travelled back to the RBLI Village to have their Portraits taken using my portable studio setup.
We all know how important it is to understand the sacrifices and contributions of veterans, so it was an honour to create these timeless and emotive portraits for them and their families as a keepsake for future generations.
Spending time with the veterans and hearing their stories was a humbling and inspiring experience, so I wanted to ensure their portraits reflected their humility and dedication to the services. I hope I’ve done them the justice they all deserve.
It was one of the most rewarding photography sessions I’ve completed this year.
