This is can often be misunderstood; I actually own and retain the copyright of all the photographs I take (both prints and digital files).
For my professional clients, where the images are going to be used as part of your business or promotional material you’re provided with the license to use the photographs as you wish both privately and commercially.
There are some very rare circumstances where copyright may be required by the client however, please get in contact to discuss.
This is very much dependent on your needs.
My normal working hours are between 11 am and 5 pm Monday to Saturday, but as above I can work to your schedule. For example it maybe convenient for you in the early morning before you get busy, or late at light – Especially if business operates through the night.
The same can be said for how complicated the commission is or the location – It may take a half day or more than one full day to complete the shoot, in which case it could be split into smaller sessions to fit around your schedule.
All of this would be worked into the shoot plan as part of your consultation process and brief.
If it’s an outdoor shoot then as a guideline I normally recommend, that it’s best to do the session the morning or late afternoon to get the best out of the natural light, but ultimately I’ll shoot at the best time for you.
I use Professional Full Frame Canon DSLR Cameras (5D Mark IV, 5D Mark III) & professional lighting & Audio equipment (for video recordings). I also use industry standard Adobe software (Photoshop/Premiere Pro) for any editing & post processing work.
My headshot and product photography studio is based in Welling, London borough of Bexley with the vast majority of my clients being based in the South East, London, Kent, Surrey, Sussex & Hampshire. However, I work to your needs & can travel throughout the whole of the UK as well as internationally if required.
I’m a qualified photographer with The Guild of Photographers and The Societies of Photographers. They qualify my photography and work ethic, as being that of a professional photographer; and demonstrates my ability to create images of excellence. Qualifications are awarded to photographers who have submitted a panel of work, which is then judged by highly qualified, respected and experienced photographers from the photographic industry. The Societies and Guild stipulate working to high professional standards and codes of conduct, that are put into place for the promotion of good working practice in all matters concerning the photography industry.
I’m a full-time professional photographer.
A “weekend warrior” is the nickname for a part-time photographer who may have another full-time job or just doing photography in their spare time. There is of course nothing wrong with this (I did so for many years!)
Some photographers are what used to be called “Shoot & Burn” The term comes from the old school method of the photographer turning up taking the photos then burning them to a CD and handing it over. This may be perfect if you’re experienced in marketing or already have someone who deals with how you’re going to use them.
However, if you’re not so technically experienced I provide a follow-up support session on how to get the best use out of your new library of visual content as well as give you advice on some of the technical aspects of uploading images to the web, social media marketing or for printed use too.
Don't ask me...
Trust what my clients say.

Ultimately, it’s about getting you out from behind your business, to being in front of your brand.
